I was quite excited about this home; this client was the sweetest lady you’d ever meet! She was building a custom home through Ripplinger Homes. I absolutely love getting to be a part of such wonderful, fun projects! I had the opportunity to play a very small part, but I feel so lucky that I even got to do that much 🙂 This new custom build was going to be her dream loft home. I adore loft homes – I love how the design provides privacy and allows an open concept for hosting. I think one day I would want to build a loft home – it’s so versatile.
Everyone involved: trades-men, installers, designers and contractors put an immeasurable amount of time and energy into this stunning home. The client wanted a very warm and welcoming feel and together we chose some classic materials and finishes to give the space a timeless atmosphere. I wanted to share a couple photos with you guys of the finished house after I got to go on site and see all of the incredible work the trades have done over the past while. All those who were involved in the Green Rose Project did an incredible job! Well done everyone!

I finally did it! I coloured all of my hair pink. I am ecstatic! This has been something that I’ve had in the works for a couple years now – Of course only a few people knew this was something that I was ever actually planning on doing – Which made it all the more fun to show up to work and church the next day and get to see people’s surprised looks all day! Sharelle and Dallas had an absolutely enchanting day! I was so lucky to have the opportunity of designing the stunning Gold couple’s wedding flowers for their Fall wedding on October 21st, 2017. Sharelle is such a sweet soul and I adored getting to know her more while we collaborated on her wedding flowers. I’ve been blessed with doing wedding flowers for several brides now – but Sharelle wins the prize of most relaxed bride ever! Together, we talked about her wedding flowers over the phone for a just over an hour and she let me run with her inspiration! Enchanting was to be the wedding theme; a romantic blend of modern burgundies and elegant blushes with mixed greens and a touch of sparkle to hint at a wonderful fairy Godmother. I was so thankful for both Dallas and Sharelle’s laid back and relaxed wedding style! Thank you for trusting me lady – Thank you for giving my floral design juices to flow freely! I believe you brought your graceful wedding vision to life on your special day! Continue reading
Working in the home building industry is quite fun; you meet so many incredibly talented individuals and get to see dreams become reality. I am so lucky I get to work in such a rewarding industry! For the past year or so, I had the opportunity to work with two lovely clients who were working through Alair Homes to create their dream home – This family put thought into every detail and the house has become a total master piece! Everyone involved: trades-men, installers, designers and contractors put an immeasurable amount of time and energy into this stunning home. I’m so thankful I got the chance to contribute to this couple’s dream home and work with the team. I wanted to share a couple photos with you guys of the finished house after I got to go on site and see all of the incredible work the trades have done over the past year. I wanted to tell everyone that was involved in the Harrington Mews Project – Well Done! This is easily one of my favourite projects that I have gotten to be a part of so far 🙂

This lady is one of my best friends.
I remember running around when we were little, pretending to be princesses together with plastic crowns and way too much glitter On her graduation day, I was able to click the moment where she truly was a princess. My sister graduated this Spring 2017 and I was so lucky to capture a couple moments of her big day of success and celebration!
You are such a beautiful woman – Inside and Out
What a beautiful day! I had the honour of designing the beautiful Shaylee [now] Durston’s wedding flowers for her and Levi’s wedding in May 2017. Shaylee wanted an elegant blend of romantic, old character to compliment the celebration of their new, young life together! I believe she brought her vision to life on this special day:
One of my favorite projects from Interior Design school was probably the retail project at the very end of the program. We studied residential design for the first year, and tackled commercial design in the second year. When I was 15 my very first job was in a flower shop and I adored it. When I first started, I didn’t think of it any more than a job to make money and save for my future little green VW Buggy – but the longer I worked there and the more I learned about floral design, I saw myself becoming a florist professionally more and more! Now that I’m in Interior Design, I though it’d be ultra cool to design my own future flower shop! I have always loved the word “Alchemy” I don’t really know why… I like the shape my mouth makes when I say it and I enjoy hearing that word… it’s weird.
