Bucket List: Go Snuba Diving

No it’s not a spelling mistake 😉 Snuba diving is a combination of snorkeling + scuba diving! It’s on my Bucket List to also go scuba diving- But this was my first go and I had to share the experience! My family and I went to Maui, Hawaii a couple years ago and we went snorkeling with Sail Trilogy at the Molokini Crater just off of Maui island. 10/10 would recommend – Solid 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! 😀 Continue reading

National Kitchen and Bath: Kitchen Competition

This project is way back from college, but I wanted to share it with you anyways 🙂

Most of you guys know that I went to Lakeland College for their Interior Design Technology program. I adored the program and would 10/10 recommend anyone interested in this career to check out that school. Anyways, one major perk about Lakeland is that it’s credited by the NKBA {National Kitchen and Bath} Continue reading

Bucket List: See the Christ the Redeemer Statue

I got to see the Christ the Redeemer statue when my sister, Andra, and I went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil a couple summers ago during the 2016 summer Olympics! It is on my Bucket List to see all of the New 7 Wonders of the World! It was absolutely incredible to see this mega statue in real life! 🙂

I Can Become More

I read an article about how Canadians have stolen the “American Dream”. North America as a whole I believe is a very “comfortable” place to live. I think part of comfortable living comes from fear of change and fear of failing. When you’re comfortable why would you make yourself uncomfortable by embracing change in order to grow and become better? I literally asked myself this question after watching the Lion King recently! The scene where Simba is talking to Mufasa in the clouds after he died made me think. Mufasa says to his son, “Look inside yourself – You are more than what you have become.Continue reading

Bucket List: Bake a Rainbow Cake

Not many people could fail this one… but I did… thank goodness I have awesome baking friends to save me! 🙂 I have seen those gorgeous pictures of rainbow cakes and they make me drool! So naturally, I had to try to bake one! Cake is my favourite food – Hands down. I love cake. Cake is amazing. One evening I had a friend over and we were talking about all the things happening in our world’s as we made the cake. Our plan was to have it four layers high, each being a different colour. Pretty simple. As we talked about work, school, boys, family and other drama, I added ingredients into the mixer while my friend greased the cake pans. When we were both done, we separated the batter into four different bowls to add the colour. The recipe we were following required that we use partial packs of jello instead of food colouring to achieve the pastel tones. Continue reading

A·ro·ma·ther·a·py

I love smelling things. Out of all my five senses, I appreciate the ability to smell above the rest. I’ve noticed that I will often pour a cup of tea and be just as content to smell it beside me instead of consuming the entire thing. I enjoy sitting in coffee shops and smelling the beans. I look forward to walking into the house and smelling turkey dinner during the holidays. Most girls might have an obsession with purses or shoes, I however have an obsession with perfumes and fragrances. I love them – they are my weakness. I appreciate a man’s bold cologne before his tie, a rose’s soft sent before its petals, or fresh bread coming out of the oven before eating it. I would be so sad to have a bad nose. Continue reading

Haley + Fabi

Haley and Fabi is probably my most favourite wedding that I’ve ever had the opportunity of doing to date. My heart gets so happy simply thinking about it! What made their day so incredibly unique and special is that Fabi’s mom grew most of the flowers for me to design with for their big day! Haley and Fabi live out on the east coast, so early on Gisela, Fabi’s Mother, and I talked about flowers and the vision the families all had for the wedding – It would be out on the farm the first week of August, and Haley wanted the day to be elegant & fun.
