These clients were so fun! It was a mother – daughter duo working on their new home with Ripplinger Homes here in the city. Those ladies and I were 100% on the same page ♥ We loved the same things, which made it even more fun when our ideas bounced off each other and created something incredible for their house! I’m always so excited when I get to work with people that enjoy making their project fun, exciting and totally designed around their family’s character + lifestyle! I’ll never get bored of being a part of such creative projects! I have been getting more opportunities to work with Ripplinger and I feel so lucky to play a small part in their projects.
Everyone involved: trades-men, installers, designers and contractors put an immeasurable amount of time and energy into this stunning home. The clients wanted a very warm and welcoming feel; together we chose some awesome textures and finishes to give the space a timeless atmosphere. I wanted to share a couple photos with you guys of the finished house. All those who were involved in the Wright Project did an incredible job! Well done everyone!
This home was outside of my comfort zone on a number of levels – I am a person that loves colour and curves. When these clients came in, they expressed their love for monochromatic tones and geometric shapes. It was so awesome to work with people that challenge me to grow, think and source outside of the box – and ultra rewarding to watch them fall in love with the finished product 🙂
I felt really bad for the tile installers on this project, because all of the tiles we specified were 8″x8″ tiles or smaller… sorry guys – You nailed it though! 😉 Below I’ve listed some of the suppliers of the materials in this home:
• Cabinetry: J&C Custom Cabinets
• Counter tops: Tubello Stone Works
• Lighting: Richardson Lighting
• Flooring and back-splash: Floors by Design
• Plumbing Fixtures: Sterling Plumbing & Heating
I’m looking forward to the next wonderful project full of talented people and creative clients!
